Our Ski Chalet Story

Jasna Adventures is a family business founded in 2016 and still run by Justin and Adriana Garrett.

After skiing Jasna for one day in 2011, Justin was hooked and saw the potential Jasna offered as an alternative to the Alps offering great value for money for Brit skiers.  With direct flights from the UK starting along with huge investment in new lifts, the time was right. Construction of the new chalet commenced, and in December 2017 Jasna Adventures first guests arrived.

But Jasna Adventures is more than a ski chalet. Having worked hard and being fortunate enough to experience skiing all over the world including France, Switzerland, Japan, Canada and New Zealand, Justin and Adriana have taken the best of snow holidays all over the world and combined it into Jasna Adventures.

Adriana is from Dolny Kubin, just 40mins from Demanovska Dolina, and Justin is Australian. They met on a ski trip to Japan in 2009, whilst living in Hong Kong, and were married in 2011, not far from Jasna.  With two boys born in Singapore, but growing up in Jasna they developed all the local knowledge you could need.

After spending 8 years in Jasna, surviving the pandemic, and restarting the business to what it is now, they currently live in Australia with their two boys.  They travel back to Jasna every chance they get, especially during ski season, so there's a good chance you'll see them in chalet, the bar or on the slopes.
